Zhao is an S-rank Ice Defense unit built to protect and empower her team. She combines strong survivability with healing, invulnerability, and high Ice DMG, while her Core Passive and Signature W-Engine boost her squad’s ATK, CRIT DMG, and Energy Regen. A versatile frontline support, Zhao turns defense into a powerful advantage for any team.

Zhao is the second S-rank limited Defense unit. The first S-rank Defense, Caesar, not only provides shields but also boosts attack power. Currently, Caesar sees limited play because the meta isn't particularly demanding, making his attack boost less impactful. Zhao, besides her strong survivability, will likely bring abilities more suited to the environment—such as penetration boosts similar to Pan Yinhu's—adding utility beyond just defense.

Basic Attack

Perform up to 5 Slash attacks forward, dealing Ice DMG;

When performing the 5th attack, accumulate [Ice Point].

Hold to activate:

After charging, perform a forward slash that deals massive Ice DMG.

If Xiaozhao triggers Quick Assist during this move and is switched off-field, she will automatically chain into Normal Attack: Charged Slash and begin charging.

While charging, Xiaozhao accumulates up to 5 seconds of charge time. The next time she uses Normal Attack: Charged Slash, Chain Attack, or Assist Follow-Up, she will consume all accumulated charge time to deal additional damage. For every 1 second of charge time consumed, Xiaozhao deals extra damage equal to 33.6% of her Max HP.

With enough energy, press to activate:

Upon activating this skill, Zhao consumes 6% max HP to restore HP for all squad members based on 1% of Zhao's max HP per second for 5 seconds. This effect can trigger once every 15 seconds.

Core Passive:

Zhao gains additional ATK based on their max HP, with every 1 point of max HP increasing ATK by 0.05;

When Zhao is within any [Ether Veil], the whole squad gains different buffs based on their specialty:

[Attack] Agents gain 40% CRIT DMG;

[Rupture] Agents gain 650 Sheer Force;

[Anomaly] Agents gain 60 Anomaly Proficiency;

[Support] Agents gain 540 ATK;

[Stun] Agents gain 30 Impact;

[Defense] Agents gain 0.72 Energy Regen Speed.

Additional Ability:

When Little Zhao activates [EX Special Attack], or when any [Ether Veil] is active, increases DMG dealt by the whole squad by 30% for 12 seconds. Repeated triggers extend the duration.

Eidolon 1

While within [Ether Veil: Health], all team members whose HP is above 50% of their Max HP gain increased interruption resistance.
When Zhao leaves the field, all team members’ damage ignores 12% of the target’s Attribute RES for 30 seconds.

Eidolon 2

Increases all team members’ Healing Received by 10%.
When a team member restores HP and their HP is already full, they gain +15% ATK for 15 seconds.

Eidolon 3

Increases the level of Basic Attack, Dodge, Assist, Special Attack, and Chain Attack by +2.

Eidolon 4

Zhao’s Core Passive gains an additional +15% ATK increase, and while within [Ether Veil], gains another +15% on top of that.

Eidolon 5

Increases the level of Basic Attack, Dodge, Assist, Special Attack, and Chain Attack by +2.

Eidolon 6

[ Basic Attack: Charged Slash] is guaranteed to Crit, and its charge time can accumulate up to 8 seconds, without being consumed during attacks.
