This guide covers everything you need to get Purrchena battle-ready, including her skill priority, best weapons, gear sets, and team comps.

 

 

Overview

Rarity: 5-star | Class: Defender | Weapon: Sword | Element: Physical

Purrchena is a 5-star Physical Defender who combines survivability with strong team utility. Rather than simply soaking damage, she rewards well-timed blocks, turning enemy attacks into SP, Ultimate buildup, and additional team support.

Her kit also brings Nature Infliction, healing, Stagger, grouping, and Arts Susceptibility, giving her a flexible role in many team setups. While some of her Giftbox effects are random, her core value remains consistent: she is a utility-focused Defender and Nature enabler who helps stabilize rotations while creating more opportunities for the team to deal damage.

 

Purrchena Skill kit & Upgrade Priority

Basic Attack: DESSERT! HAVE SOME!

BASIC ATTACK:

An attack with up to 3 sequences that deals Physical DMG. As the controlled operator, Final Strike also deals 21 Stagger.

DIVE ATTACK:

Basic attack performed in mid-air becomes a dive attack that deals Physical DMG to nearby enemies.

FINISHER:

Basic attack performed near a Staggered enemy becomes a finisher that deals massive Physical DMG and recovers some SP.

 

Battle Skill: I'M NOT SLEEPING!

Purrchena raises up her shield to block an attack and immediately returns some SP. While Purrchena's shield is up, she grants Protection to herself and nearby operators. During the battle skill, the first successful block extends the shield up duration and returns additional SP. After casting, Purrchena's battle skill is temporarily changed to LEAVE MY FRIENDS ALONE!

LEAVE MY FRIENDS ALONE!: Purrchena headbutts a target in front of her to deal Nature DMG and apply Nature Infliction.

Protection granted during shield-raising is reduced after every blocked attack.

 

Combo Skill: CAKE OR "PREZZIE"

Throws a Giftbox at the controlled operator. The Giftbox opens after a short delay, granting HP Treatment to nearby operators and randomly revealing one of the following items, and triggering the effects of the revealed item:

• Bomb: Deals Physical DMG and additional Stagger to enemies in the area of effect (AOE).
• Handicraft: Continuously pulls in nearby enemies and deals Physical DMG.
• Yummy Dessert: Grants HP Treatment to the controlled operator.

The attribute of Will increases the amount of HP treatment.

When the controlled operator is attacked.

 

Ultimate: NAUGHTY IS BANNED!

Purrchena opens 3 Big Feline's Prezzies. Each Big Feline's Prezzie randomly reveals a Bomb or a piece of Handicraft.

There is a chance that the Prezzie reveals Ambassador's Special that applies Arts Susceptibility and deals Physical DMG as well as additional Stagger to enemies.

 

Purrchena Skill Priority

Ultimate > Combo Skill > Battle Skill > Normal Attack

Purrchena should prioritize her Ultimate first, as it provides the greatest improvement to her overall team utility. Its Giftboxes can contribute Stagger and grouping, while Ambassador’s Special applies stackable Arts Susceptibility, making it one of the most valuable parts of her support kit. Her Combo Skill comes next because it is a recurring part of her rotation, consistently providing healing while also offering extra Stagger, grouping, or additional sustain depending on the Giftbox result.

Her Battle Skill is essential to how she functions, but much of its value comes from its built-in mechanics and Talents rather than skill-level scaling. Successful blocks return SP, trigger her Combo Skill, grant extra Ultimate Energy, and increase the chance of Ambassador’s Special appearing on her next Ultimate, while the follow-up also provides Nature Infliction. Normal Attack comes last because Purrchena is generally played off-field as a Defender and utility enabler rather than as the team's active damage dealer.

Dessert Moment fits Purrchena because it reinforces exactly what she wants to do in a team: sustain allies while enabling Arts damage dealers. Her Combo Skill already triggers naturally during enemy pressure, so the weapon lets her convert a defensive response into a reliable offensive window for the active carry. It also improves her overall survivability and healing consistency, making her more comfortable in the Defender role without changing her rotation. For Arts-focused teams, it significantly increases the value she provides beyond pure protection and sustain.

	When entering the battle, the entire team gains the Dream Striving buff that grants DMG Dealt +14.0%, Arts Intensity +28, and DEF +8.4% for 20s. When Dream Striving ends, the wielder restores the entire team for 122 HP. Effects of the same name cannot stack.
Farsight is a solid alternative mainly for its unconditional team utility. Purrchena can equip it without changing her rotation, while the opening teamwide buffs improve both damage and survivability. It is especially useful as a general-purpose option, though its value is front-loaded into the first 20 seconds and lacks the sustained synergy of Dessert Moment.

Eternal Xiranite fits Purrchena especially well because her Battle Skill can reliably apply Protection, keeping its teamwide damage buff active. Its Will and Ultimate Gain Efficiency also support stronger healing and faster Ultimate access, helping her contribute more frequent Stagger.

LYNX Gauntlets work well as the off-piece, adding extra Will and Treatment Bonus without breaking the 3-piece Eternal Xiranite effect. This further improves her healing while keeping the build focused on team utility and Ultimate cycling.

Typhoeus is the main carry, with Purrchena supplying cheap Nature Inflictions for her Power Shots while adding Stagger and defensive utility. Ardelia provides Susceptibility and forced Corrosion, which can also trigger Liino’s Combo Skill. Liino then adds long-duration Amp and ATK buffs that comfortably cover Typhoeus’s extended damage window, while her low SP demand keeps the rotation manageable.

Gilberta

This team feeds Yvonne the Inflictions she needs to generate Solidification and Ultimate Energy. Xaihi supplies Cryo Infliction and strong Cryo/Nature Amp, while Gilberta contributes Nature Infliction, grouping, and a short Arts Susceptibility window for Yvonne’s burst. Purrchena adds inexpensive Nature Infliction, sustain, and Stagger. Just avoid mixing Cryo and Nature stacks carelessly, as premature reactions can waste Yvonne’s Inflictions.
