Purrchena arrives in Arknights: Endfield on September 24, 2026 as a free 5-star Physical Defender. Combining Protection, healing, crowd control, Stagger, and Nature Infliction, she offers much more than traditional frontline defense. This Purrchena build covers her full kit, skill priority, best weapons, team comps, and everything you need to prepare her for battle.
Overview

Rarity: 5-star | Class: Defender | Weapon: Sword | Element: Physical
Purrchena is a 5-star Physical Defender in Arknights: Endfield who combines frontline protection with healing, crowd control, Stagger, and Nature Infliction. Rather than acting as a traditional tank, she works as a flexible defensive support who can protect vulnerable carries while also enabling Nature-based setups. Her broad utility makes her especially valuable in Typhoeus teams, where she can cover both survivability and Infliction support in a single slot.
Skills & Leveling Priority
Normal Attack — Dessert! Have Some!
Purrchena performs up to 3 attack sequences, dealing Physical DMG. Performing a Finisher deals heavy Physical DMG and restores some SP.
Battle Skill — I'm Not Sleeping!
Purrchena raises her shield to block incoming attacks and grants Protection to herself and nearby Operators, also making them harder to interrupt. Her first successful block extends the skill's duration and restores additional SP, while continued blocking gradually reduces the Protection effect.
After a short period, the skill can be cast again without consuming SP, dealing Nature DMG and applying Nature Infliction. This free recast is one of the most important parts of her kit, especially in teams that need a reliable Nature applicator.
Combo Skill — Cake or "Prezzie"
Trigger: When the Controlled Operator is attacked.
Purrchena throws a Giftbox toward the Controlled Operator, immediately providing HP Treatment to Operators within its AoE. The Giftbox then randomly produces one of three additional effects:
- Bomb: Deals Physical DMG and additional Stagger.
- Handicraft: Continuously pulls nearby enemies together while dealing Physical DMG.
- Yummy Dessert: Continuously restores HP to the Controlled Operator.
This makes her Combo Skill a reactive defensive tool that can also provide Stagger or crowd control depending on the Giftbox result.
Ultimate — Naughty Is Banned!
Purrchena opens 3 Big Feline's Prezzies at once. Each gift randomly produces either a Bomb, dealing additional Stagger, or a Handicraft, which groups nearby enemies.
There is also a chance for one of the gifts to become Ambassador's Special, which applies Arts Susceptibility to affected enemies. This gives Purrchena additional offensive support value for Arts-based carries, although the exact activation probability has not yet been officially revealed.
Purrchena Skill Priority
Battle Skill > Combo Skill > Ultimate > Normal Attack
Prioritize Purrchena's Battle Skill because it provides her core defensive utility while its free recast applies Nature Infliction, making it especially important for Typhoeus teams. Her Combo Skill comes next for its reliable reactive healing alongside additional Stagger, grouping, or sustain.
The Ultimate is valuable for crowd control, Stagger, and its chance to apply Arts Susceptibility, but its random nature makes it less consistent than her first two skills. Normal Attack comes last, as Purrchena is primarily used for defensive and support utility rather than her personal Physical damage.
Best Weapon

Dessert Moment |
Rarity: 5✦ Type: Sword Base ATK: ? |
|
? |
|
|
Dessert Moment is Purrchena's best overall choice, providing Strength Boost, Treatment Efficiency Boost, and Medicant. All three effects suit her defensive/healing role, and the Version 1.5 event gives both the weapon and enough additional copies to reach maximum Potential for free. |

Alternative
|
Farsight |
Rarity: 6✦ Type: Sword Base ATK: 500 |
|
When entering the battle, the entire team gains the Dream Striving buff that grants DMG Dealt +14.0%, Arts Intensity +28, and DEF +8.4% for 20s. When Dream Striving ends, the wielder restores the entire team for 122 HP. Effects of the same name cannot stack. |
|
|
Farsight provides an adaptive Main Attribute increase and gives the entire team temporary DMG Dealt, Arts Intensity, and DEF, followed by team healing. Its general support package fits Purrchena better than most damage-oriented Swords, although Dessert Moment remains more specialized for her healing role. |
|
|
Fortmaker |
Rarity: 5✦ Type: Sword Base ATK: 411 |
|
Attack: +14.00% Arts Intensity: +70 |
|
|
Fortmaker provides substantial Ultimate Gain Efficiency, allowing Purrchena to access Naughty Is Banned! more often and therefore roll for Ambassador's Special more frequently. However, its Intellect and Arts Intensity stats are less naturally suited to her expected defensive build, making it a situational option rather than a direct Dessert Moment replacement. |

Best Team Comps

Purrchena |

This team gives Typhoeus a highly stable burst setup. Purrchena provides Nature Infliction for Typhoeus to consume while also protecting her during Hovering. Liino adds healing, ATK buffs, and Nature Amp, directly boosting Typhoeus's damage.
Ardelia further improves burst damage through Corrosion and Arts Susceptibility. Trigger her debuffs before Typhoeus enters her main damage window, while Purrchena and Liino handle sustain and keep the rotation safe.

Typhoeus |
Purrchena |

This lineup focuses more on grouping and Arts-Reaction utility. Purrchena and Gilberta both provide Nature Infliction, while Gilberta groups enemies inside Typhoeus's Barrage Array and adds Arts Susceptibility. Purrchena also supplies Protection and extra crowd control.
Perlica contributes Electric damage, SP-efficient tempo, and helps trigger Gilberta's Combo. Just avoid consuming Nature Infliction with Electrification before Typhoeus uses it—let Typhoeus generate her Signs first, then trigger reactions afterward.
Conclusion
Purrchena's combination of survivability and Nature Infliction makes her a flexible support, especially alongside Typhoeus. As more of her final build details become available, we'll continue updating this guide with the best gear, stats, and rotations.
