HSR 3.7 Banners: Cyrene Debuts, Castorice, Phainon & Hyacine Rerun

Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.7 is coming soon, and the new content has been officially revealed. This update brings a new character, Cyrene, along with rerun banners for popular characters like Phainon, Castorice, Hyacine,  Cipher, Tribbie, and Mydei. The introduction of the large-scale permanent mode, “Currency Wars,” will also expand both gameplay depth and team-building options.

Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.7 is set to launch on November 5, 2025, marking the grand finale of the long-running Amphoreus saga. Trailblazers will finally witness the conclusion of this epic storyline and begin looking ahead to their next adventure across the stars.

New Character: Cyrene 

Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Combat Path: Remembrance | Combat Type: Ice

Meet Cyrene, our brand-new 5★ Ice / Path of Remembrance unit, and the finale face of the Amorphous arc. She is a versatile Ice unit who can switch between sub-DPS and support roles, offering strong off-field damage, resistance shred, and team buffs. With flexible mechanics and synergy in Ice and hybrid teams, she will secure a solid spot in the meta.

Cyrene’s dual forms revolve around her Ultimate, which marks the turning point of her kit. Before activation, she stays in her standard form, building Recollection points while shielding, healing, and supporting the team.

Upon casting “The Poetry’s ◦, The Promise’s ∞”, she summons her memosprite, instantly grants it an extra turn, and triggers all teammates’ Ultimates simultaneously. She then enters Ripples of Past Reverie, where her Basic ATK transforms into “Towards Love and Tomorrow ♪”, her and the memosprite’s CRIT Rate rises by 50%, and her playstyle shifts into an all-out offensive stance with zone control.

Cyrene functions as a hybrid team support, blending explosive burst with steady utility. She can synchronize the entire squad’s Ultimates for massive opening damage, while also providing lasting buffs and sustain. This duality makes her a versatile pick, equally effective in one-shot nuke setups and balanced team comps.

HSR 3.7 Rerun Characters

Castorice

Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Path: Remembrance | Combat Type: Quantum

Castorice is a 5★ Quantum Remembrance hypercarry who relies on her Netherwing to dish out heavy AoE Quantum damage, shred toughness, and apply RES PEN. With the right supports, she can output some of the highest sustained DPS in the game, especially against groups or bosses vulnerable to Quantum.

Her main drawbacks are her HP management requirements and reliance on tailored team comps to maximize efficiency. Castorice is most rewarding for players who enjoy building around HP-drain synergies, investing in top-tier damage relics, and optimizing rotations.

She is less convenient for casual players, but highly appealing for theorycrafters and min-maxers who want a premium AoE Quantum carry.

 

Hyacine

Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Path: Remembrance | Combat Type: Wind

Hyacine  is a Wind Remembrance support who excels at enabling HP-consuming characters. She boosts allies’ Max HP through her After Rain state and summons Little Ica (her memosprite) to provide frequent HP-based healing and supportive effects.

With her 6th Eidolon, she further amplifies team damage by granting all allies 20% All-Type RES PEN while Little Ica is on the field, making her offensive support much more consistent and valuable.

Thanks to this combination of HP manipulation, action-tempo utility, and scaling offensive amplification, Hyacine becomes a near-irreplaceable enabler for HP-drain carries like Castorice, Mydei, or Blade, while remaining a strong but more situational pick in general-purpose lineups. 

 

Cipher

Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Path: Nihility | Combat Type: Quantum

Cipher is a five-star Quantum character on the Path of Nihility, serving as a hybrid support and secondary DPS. She boosts team damage by weakening enemy defenses, transferring debuffs, and recording allies’ damage to unleash it later as True DMG through her Ultimate. With her Vulnerability and Recorded Damage mechanics, Cipher functions as a powerful damage amplifier, while her high SPD allows her to act frequently, maintaining consistent debuff uptime and team support.

Cipher excels as a flexible support and sub-DPS with strong SPD-to-Crit DMG scaling, easy builds, and cross-team versatility, helping smooth out DoT teams’ delayed damage. However, her timing-dependent burst, SPD management, and Quantum-limited synergy can make team coordination tricky.

Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Path: Destruction | Combat Type: Imaginary

Mydei is an Imaginary Destruction unit who thrives on sacrificing his own HP for massive damage output. His kit scales aggressively with life-loss, turning risk into high reward, while also offering taunt-style pressure to draw enemy hits.

He excels in both single-target and AoE fights when paired with supports that stabilize HP costs and boost CRIT or skill multipliers. Mydei fits best in specialized squads alongside enablers like Hyacine, strong healers, or characters who synergize with HP-drain mechanics.

He’s particularly appealing for players who enjoy high-risk, high-reward gameplay, or those building around the HP-loss Remembrance archetype. For players who prefer safer, plug-and-play DPS options, he’s less of a priority.

 

 

HSR NEW Skins

Version 3.7 is set to deliver new skins for both Cyrene and the Trailblazer. Following this reveal, further information regarding Version 3.8 will be held back for the time being.

 

HSR 3.7 New Game Mode: Currency War

Currency Wars is slated to arrive as a large-scale, permanent game mode in Version 3.7. The announcement frames it as a sandbox for team experimentation:  10-person teams, front/back row positioning, and mode-exclusive abilities and bonds that reward specific character combos.

From footage and community write-ups, the mode gives off a deck-builder / TCG-like vibe — you assemble a larger squad, trigger combo bonuses, and face wave-style PvE encounters rather than direct PvP. Early analysis suggests Currency Wars is aimed at veteran players and meta-theorists: expect new balancing considerations, faction synergies, and dedicated progression or seasonal rewards to keep it fresh long-term. Details remain limited until HoYoverse drops more info, but the mode looks positioned to be the game’s next major endgame playground.

New Relics

Here are the details for the new Relic sets arriving in Version 3.7.

Amphoreus, The Eternal Land

2-Pc: Increases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 8%. While the wearer's memosprite is on the field, increases all allies' SPD by 8%. This effect cannot be stacked. This New Planar set must be Cyrene’s signature planar set, pick it up, Trailblazers!

 

Tengoku@Livestream

2-Pc: Increases the wearer's CRIT DMG by 16%. If 3 or more Skill Points are consumed in the same turn, additionally increases the wearer's CRIT DMG by 32% for 3 turns. According to the Japanese name, and the eye in it looks like Sparkle’s, I think this would be the best evidence for Edo star and Sparkle SP in 4.0 banner.
