NTE 1.5 Banners: Elyms and Exe

NTE Version 1.4 has not even arrived yet, but the NTE 1.5 banners are already becoming much clearer.

The latest leaks still point to Elyms and Exe as the two major new characters for Version 1.5. Exe is the captain of E.T.D. 6, while Elyms serves as his lieutenant. Releasing both senior members of the same unit in one patch would be a very natural move.

NTE 1.5 Release Date

If NTE continues following roughly the same six-week update cycle, I currently expect Version 1.5 to arrive around November 11, 2026.

That date is still an estimate based on the current patch schedule rather than an official announcement.

NTE 1.5 New Characters

Phase 1: Elyms

Elyms is the lieutenant of E.T.D. 6 and is currently expected to be a Cosmos character.

Earlier on, I thought she had a good chance of being a straightforward support or off-field sub-DPS. With the newer information, I am much less convinced that she will simply sit in the backline.

The latest details point to Elyms having a five-hit close-range attack sequence, which immediately makes her combat role more interesting.

That does not automatically make her a main DPS, but it does suggest that she may spend a meaningful amount of time on the field.

At this point, I would describe her more as a character who may combine melee damage, reaction setup, and team cycling rather than a pure support.

Phase 2: Exe

Exe is the captain of E.T.D. 6 and is currently linked to the Chaos element.

We still know less about Exe's personal kit than Elyms', but his element alone already gives us a good idea of the team direction Hotta may be building toward.

Will NTE 1.5 Have Rerun Banners?

This part is still difficult to predict.

Previous patches have not followed one completely fixed rerun pattern, and the Version 1.4 schedule already suggests that Hotta may be shifting some reruns around.

I would wait for more reliable information before trying to predict which older character could appear alongside them.

Final Thoughts

The NTE 1.5 banners are starting to look much more complete.

Current information points to Elyms in Phase 1 and Exe in Phase 2. Elyms is linked to Cosmos and may have a much more active melee role than earlier expectations suggested, while Exe is linked to Chaos and looks like a natural fit for an Incantation-Chaos-Psych reaction team.

If you are planning to pull across both Version 1.4 and 1.5, it is probably a good idea to start keeping some Rift Crystals aside now.
