Shinku arrives in NTE Version 1.2 on July 8, and she is not here to play politely. As a Cosmos Condensate DPS built around fast strikes, Surging Crimson, and post-Ultimate burst windows, she rewards players who like aggressive rotations and big payoff moments.
This Shinku build guide covers her best skills, Arcs, Modules, stats, and team comps so you can prep before her banner drops.
Overview

Rarity: S-Rank | Element: Cosmos | Arc: Condensate
Shinku is a Cosmos Condensate main DPS built around fast martial-arts strings, High-Speed Breach, and her Ultimate, Crimson Fury. Her core loop builds Defiant Spirit, enters Surging Crimson, then converts that form into heavier Cosmos burst damage through Tidal Assault and follow-up Ultimate actions. Because her Support Skill improves Charge, she wants teammates who enable Remora, Blossom, and fast Ultimate cycling. Her ceiling looks strongest when DEF ignore and Cosmos buffs overlap.
Skill Kit
Basic Attack: Special Combat Arts

Redirect Skill: High-Speed Breach

Ultimate: Crimson Fury

Skill Upgrade Priority
Ultimate > Skill > Basic Attack > Support Skill
Her Ultimate opens the 13s Surging Crimson window and also covers Crimson Judgement and Dragonflame Verdict, so it scales the rotation’s burst core. Skill is next because Crimson Blade casts add Judgement segments. Basic Attack mainly builds resources and fills downtime, while Support Skill is an entry tap.
After Shinku’s post-release buffs, her Skill Priority has shifted to:
Basic Attack > Ultimate > Skill > Support Skill

Best Arcs
Sig Arc
Through the Crimson Mirage |
ATK: +570 CRIT Rate: +24% |
ATK +20%. After casting an Ultimate, the wearer gains 32% increased Cosmos DMG, and their damage ignores 12% of the enemy’s DEF for 20s. Triggering the effect again refreshes its duration. |
This Arc fits Shinku because its timing lines up perfectly with her Ultimate-driven damage pattern. After she enters her enhanced form, she wants to stay on-field, spend that window aggressively, then cash out with her follow-up Ultimate sequence. Since the Arc activates right as that cycle begins, its value is concentrated exactly where Shinku’s burst ceiling sits. |
Alternative
What's Desired |
ATK: +570 CRIT Rate: +24% |
Golden Fleece Increases Anima DMG by 25%. Increases the wearer's Lakshana DMG by 25%. Increases the wearer's CRIT DMG by 40% for 20s when they cast a Redirect Skill or Ultimate. Resets the duration when triggered again. |
What’s Desired works as a backup Condensate Arc for Shinku because its ATK and CRIT Rate still support her Cosmos DPS kit. Although the Lakshana DMG bonus is wasted, the CRIT DMG buff triggers from Redirect Skill or Ultimate, fitting her High-Speed Breach, Crimson Fury, and Surging Crimson burst windows. |
Fluff of Ferocity |
ATK: +512 ATK: 27.5% |
Knight's Candy Increases wearer's CRIT DMG by 4% for 10s after landing a critical hit, up to 10 stacks. Resets the duration when triggered again. |
Fluff of Ferocity works as a general alternative for Shinku because its ATK% stat and Knight’s Candy CRIT DMG stacks fit her fast, multi-hit DPS pattern. She can trigger the effect consistently through repeated hits, making it easy to maintain stacks. It lacks Cosmos DMG support, but the raw crit scaling is still useful. |
Best Modules
Lost Radiance |
2-piece: Epic (2): Cosmos DMG +10%. 4-piece: Legendary (4): Ignores 25% of enemies' DEF for 20s after the wearer casts Ultimate. Effect does not stack. |
Main Stat: CRIT Rate Substat: CRIT Rate / Universal DMG Bonus / CRIT DMG / ATK% |
Lost Radiance is Shinku’s best Module because it doubles down on her post-Ultimate burst. Its Cosmos DMG 2-piece matches her damage type, while the 4-piece DEF ignore stacks with Shinku’s own DEF ignore after Ultimate, letting Surging Crimson hit much harder during her main DPS window, especially against high-DEF targets. |
Awakening Priority
A6 = A3 > A4 > A1 = A2 > A5
Shinku’s value is tied to her Ultimate-driven two-form burst cycle. A6 directly improves the Skill-to-Ultimate finisher chain, while A3 buffs the enhanced-form window itself, making both the biggest ceiling upgrades. A4 adds extra payoff for players who can manage Intimidating Gaze properly. A1 and A2 are reliable general damage gains, but less transformative. A5 is mostly comfort, not damage.
Best Team Comps
Shinku |
Shinku can anchor the team as the Cosmos carry, while Hathor adds Lakshana to create Remora and enable Charge once Iroi or Jiuyuan contributes Anima for Blossom. Charge feeds Ultimate Energy, letting Shinku re-enter Surging Crimson faster while Hathor keeps burst pressure. Iroi covers healing and buffs, and Jiuyuan adds grouping, Anima damage, and flexible sub-DPS uptime for smoother rotations.
Shinku |
Hathor |
Edgar |
Jiuyuan |
Shinku remains the Cosmos carry, while Hathor supplies Lakshana for Remora and burst damage. Edgar adds a second Cosmos source plus healing, making rotations safer than Iroi variants. Jiuyuan provides Anima, grouping, and Blossom enhancement, so Remora plus Blossom can trigger Charge and refund Ultimate Energy for Shinku’s next window.
Shinku |
Hathor |
Jiuyuan |
Shinku is the Cosmos carry, Hathor supplies Lakshana for Remora, and Jiuyuan adds Anima plus grouping to set Blossom. Zero improves this variant by refilling Esper Meter quickly, letting the team trigger Remora and Blossom into Charge more often. Charge feeds Ultimate Energy, helping Shinku re-enter her post-Ultimate burst faster.
Conclusion
Shinku looks like one of those characters who gets way better once the whole setup clicks: build Defiant Spirit, enter Surging Crimson, stack DEF ignore, then let her damage spike during the right window. Prioritize Cosmos damage, crit stats, and teams that keep Charge rolling, and she should feel sharp both in burst rotations and longer fights.
