Saber Overview

Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐｜Element: Wind｜Path: Destruction

Saber is a limited five-star Destruction Path character with the Wind element. She excels as a main DPS and thrives on frequent ultimate usage for high burst damage.Not only does she have high Break Damage, but she can also deal additional damage based on the length of the enemy's Break Gauge. This means that as a character of Destruction, she can clear enemies in groups and deal with single targets effectively. Although the exact values are not clear yet, the strength of a collaboration character is generally not low..

 

Saber Trace Priority

Upgrading Saber's traces in the proper sequence is essential for maximizing her effectiveness. Considering her ultimate's mechanics and ability, the following is the recommended order for trace priority:

• Ultimate: Top Priority. Saber's Ultimate is her strongest attack, dealing heavy single-target damage with splash, and it becomes a massive AoE nuke when enhanced. Leveling it increases its damage multipliers significantly, which is vital for burst phases in MoC. Since her kit revolves around powering up this Ultimate, you want it hitting as hard as possible.
• Skill: Second Priority. This damages a target and adjacent enemies. You will use her Skill frequently in MoC waves and to chip multiple enemies' Toughness. Leveling it boosts both its direct damage dealt to multiple enemies. In prolonged fights, Skill contributes a large portion of total damage, so it's nearly as important as the Ultimate.
• Talent: Third Priority. Saber's talent gives her a stacking buff whenever any ally uses an Ultimate, increasing her survivability and energy regen, and eventually upgrading her own Ultimate. Leveling the talent typically increases the buff effects (e.g. energy recharge rate, damage reduction, etc.). This indirectly boosts her performance and should be maxed eventually. However, prioritize direct damage skills first; the talent's utility is potent but harder to feel immediately than raw damage gains.
• Basic ATK: Last Priority. Saber's basic is single-target and used least often. It's mainly a filler when low on skill points. While it should not be neglected entirely (higher basic ATK helps in zero-skill-point moments and finishing off low-health foes), it yields the lowest benefit from maxing. Leave this for last when everything else is done.

2-piece Eagle of Twilight Line + 2-piece Musketeer of Wild Wheat – This combo gives you +10% Wind DMG and +12% ATK, making it a great alternative if you don't have a strong 4-piece Eagle set yet. It offers a nice balance of elemental and raw attack boosts to power up all of Saber's abilities. 

2-Piece Bonus: Increases CRIT Rate by 8%. Piece Bonus： Increases DMG dealt by Skill and Ultimate by 20%. After using Ultimate, additionally increases the DMG dealt by the next Skill by 25%.

4-piece Scholar Lost in Erudition – This set gives +8% Crit Rate, +20% Skill and Ultimate DMG, and a +25% boost to your next Skill after using an Ultimate. It's a newer set made for skill-heavy DPS characters (like Jingliu), and it works well for Saber too since her playstyle revolves around using Skills and Ultimates often. If you have it, definitely consider trying it out!

The Wondrous BananAmusement Park 2-Piece Bonus: Increases the wearer's CRIT DMG by 16%. When a target summoned by the wearer is on the field, CRIT DMG additionally increases by 32%.

Silver Wolf lowers enemy DEF and can implant Wind Weakness, letting Saber break through any enemy regardless of their original resistances. Add a healer like Luocha, Bailu, or Natasha to keep the team alive—especially useful until Saber's enhanced Ultimate kicks in and heals the party. Alternatively, a shielder like Aventurine or Fu Xuan can keep Saber safe. This team works great against single-target bosses (even if they're not Wind-weak, thanks to Silver Wolf) and also shines in multi-enemy fights thanks to Saber's AoE and Bronya's turn manipulation.
