Debuting as one of the brand new Harmony units that focuses on buffing other characters in Honkai Star Rail, Cerydra promises to help boost the damage potential of Skill-oriented characters to the maximum with her amazing skill kit. Therefore, in this guide, we will go over all of the best teams that Cerydra will elevate, both premium and F2P, and show players how they can best use Cerydra to her best potential in these teams!
What we cover:
Cerydra Best Premium Teams & Builds
As a premium Character following the path of the Harmony, Cerydra works amazingly as a Support and Sub DPS character for various Skill based teams and DPS characters, especially for premium DPS options such as Phainon and Anaxa, whose skill kit benefits most from Cerydra’s amazing skill kit and abilities.
Phainon Hypercarry Team
The most important and the team Cerydra is made for to support, the Phainon Hypercarry team is the team that will take full advantage of Cerydra skill kit and abilities to the absolute maximum due to her amazing synergy with Phainon as a main DPS.

Damage Support |
This team works on the basis of Cerydra being able to massively boost Phainon’s skill damage output while also allowing Phainon to deal additional instances of Skill damage when he is in his Solo mode. By focusing all the strongest buffs and effects from 3 different Harmony Support characters on Phainon, he will be able to unleash his Ultimate extremely easily while being hyperbuffed with powerful Damage and Critical Damage boosts from allies.
To maximize the damage of this team, the characters in the team should be built with the following Lightcones and Relic Sets:

Important Notes:
- Phainon should at least achieve 134 Spd when he is in battle in order for him to go before the enemies and be able to use his taunt skill while in his solo mode.
- Cerydra and Sunday should both be on the Sacerdos' Relieved Ordeal Relic Set and Lushaka, the Sunken Seas Ornament Set, as these set effects stacks together when used by different characters, allowing them to boost Phainon with up to 72% Critical Damage and 20% more Attack simply by using their skills and abilities.
- Bronya or Sparkle can be used as the last member of the team to maximize the damage output of Phainon and the team doesn’t need to sustain thanks to Phainon’s unique solo mechanic, however, players should be careful when managing their buff duration when using their skill and ultimate.
- Please be aware of the potential Skill Point consumption with the team, as the team will consume a lot of skill points to use their skills at least twice to get the maximum Relic buffs for Phainon, while Sunday will need to use his Skill and Ultimate each once.

Anaxa Double Erudition Team
A surprising character that gain absolutely all of the benefits from Cerydra’s skill kit, Anaxa, when in the same team as Cerydra, becomes the main DPS for the double Erudition team for various contents that requires AoE damage, completely taking over The Herta’s role and turn The Herta into his sub DPS instead.
Cerydra’s skill kit and abilities have an interesting interaction with Anaxa’s skill effects, which allow Anaxa to essentially fire off a total of 4 Skills in a row with Cerydra’s Skill duplication effect and Anaxa’s Skill retrigger effect when the enemies have more than 5 weaknesses. This synergy massively boosted Anaxa’s damage to the maximum.

Important Notes:
- Buff timing is extremely important in this team as players should aim for Anaxa to achieve Cerydra’s Skill duplication when he has already inflicted at least 5 different weaknesses on the enemies to allow his skill to trigger 4 times in a row. If the 5 weaknesses condition is not achieved, the damage output of Anaxa will fall considerably.
- The Herta and other substitute Erudition characters serve as the sub DPS in the team to help Anaxa trigger his Talent, granting him 140% extra critical Damage when there’s 2 Erudition characters on the field.
- Since Anaxa’s skill effect is triggered twice, players should use his skill against enemies with more than 5 weakness when Cerydra’s stacks is at 5/6 as the additional instance of skill is considered a separate skill damage instance, allowing Anaxa to trigger up to 4 skills use in a row.
- Lingsha is used as the 4th member thanks to her frequent AoE attacks that can help both break the enemies inflicted with weaknesses from Anaxa and recover energy for The Herta to allow her to use her abilities more frequently coupled with Lingsha’s strong healing abilities to help maintain the team’s survivability. She needs to be at as high a speed as possible.
Archer Hypercarry Team
The last premium DPS that can take full advantage of Cerydra’s massive skill buffing skill kit and talent is the free DPS character that can spam Skill as long as there are Skill Points in the form of Archer.
Archer is a decently tricky character to use in general due to him requiring extensive Skill Point management. However, with Cerydra’s help, he can maximize his damage output massively to finish off enemies in a more efficient way without having to consume as much skill point thanks to Cerydra’s skill duplication effect.

Important Notes:
- As Archer’s best teammate, Sparkle is a must have in this team to help recover as many skill points for the team as possible and allow Archer to spam up his skill up to 5 times in 1 skill use to guarantee that he will clear the enemies.
- As all of Archer’s skill usage is considered as a separate skill damage instance, players should ideally have Cerydra’s buff stack at 3/6 before using Archer skill to guarantee that he will be able to trigger Cerydra’s skill duplication effect in the same damage cycle.
- The last teammate for this team should be a character with SP positive skill kit that provides either sustain or support for the entire team.
Cerydra Best F2P Teams & Builds
For Cerydra F2P teams, we will go over the best teams that players can use Cerydra on together with free characters available to the players through various events in addition to F2P 4* characters and Lightcones to help lessen the amount of pulling you will need to do to complete the teams.
Please note that the 5* characters used in these teams are free characters that players can obtain through various means including events, special shops and more.
Archer F2P Team
As Archer is one of the Free 5* characters you can obtain from the Fate Collaboration event, he can be run as a main DPS in a Cerydra team together with other F2P support characters to best help boost his damage output. Similar to his premium hypercarry team, this team focuses on utilizing Cerydra’s strong skill buffing effects to boost Archer’s damage to the maximum.

Important Note:
- As this team requires a lot of Skill Points to fully utilize Archer’s power without Sparkle as his teammate, players will need to manage their skill point properly even with the help of Hanya’s Skill Point recovery effect.
- For the 4th ally in the team, if players want to maximize the damage output of Archer in exchange for less sustain, using an additional Harmony character like Astra or Ruan Mei is highly recommended.

Dr.Ratio F2P Team
While can be used as a F2P team, this team requires that you will have gotten a copy of Dr.Ratio when he was available for free. This team doesn’t perform as well as other teams due to Cerydra’s buffs not working on Dr.Ratio’s main gimmick which is Follow-up Attacks. However, thanks to Cerydra’s skill duplication effect and skill damage boosting, players can still use her together with Dr.Ratio to trigger more frequent Follow Up Attacks from his skill use when against enemies with debuffs in addition to boosting his Skill damage output.

Important Notes:
- Cerydra needs to go before Dr.Ratio in this team to provide him with her buffs before he takes action.
- Pela is used in the team to provide as many debuffs for Dr.Ratio as possible to trigger his Follow-up Attacks and boost his damage through his talent.
- Gallagher is the preferred sustain option for the team with his healing on demand and the ability to debuff all enemies, allowing Dr.Ratio to deal more damage.
Conclusion
With the release of Cerydra and her role as the premium Skill Damage buffing character moving forward, Cerydra’s is one of the best future-proof harmony characters that will gain benefits the more Skill-based characters are released in the future. Therefore, we hope that for now, together with her release, players will be able to use her in the many different team comps that we offer in order to best utilize her as one of the strongest support characters in Honkai Star Rail moving forward.
