Cerydra is a Wind Harmony Character in Honkai Star Rail 3.5. She enables an ally on the team to use their skill twice with her Military Merit mechanic. Cerydra focuses on providing single target buffs to an ally consisting of all-types RES PEN, CRIT DMG, Attack, and Speed.
Cerydra Mechanics
Cerydra Kit revolves around the Military Merit. Cerydra use her Skill to grant Military Merit buff for one designated ally character and gain charge when Cerydra and chosen ally use Basic ATK or Skill. The ally will gain a DMG boost equal to 24% of Cerydra's ATK. And once target changes, her charge is reset to 0.
When Cerydra's charges reach 6, automatically upgrades the Military Merit to Peerage, and the ally will trigger Coup de Main effect that duplicate Skill and grant 72% CRIT DMG, 10% All-Type RES PEN.After consumes 6 charges, the Coup de Main ends and Peerage reverts to Military Merit.
She also grants the ally a 20 SPD increase when she use skill. When using her Technique entering into the battle, Cerydra gains Military Merit, transfer it to the current active character, and automatically use Skill on the character without spending SP. This SPD enhancement makes her potent when paired with another Action-advanced support like Sunday and Bronya, which greatly ease the SPD tuning.
When the ally attacks with BA and Skill, Cerydra will gain 5 Energy Regen. If you utilize this trait, pair her with Phainon or Anaxa, Cerydra can unleash Ult in 2 turns.
In terms of damage output, Cerydra comes with 100% CRIT Rate, 360% CRIT DMG, +22.4% Wind DMG bonus, and 4000+ ATK can be realized with the best Relics build.
But the normal multipliers makes her more suited as sub-DPS. Cerydra deals Wind additional DMG equal to 60% of Cerydra's ATK whenever the designated ally target uses Basic ATK or Skill attacks, this effect can be triggered up to 20 times and the trigger count resets when she use Ult. Cerydra’s ultimate instantly gains 2 charges and deals Wind DMG equal to 240% of Cerydra's ATK to one designated enemy.

As an offensive Support Character, Cerydra’s abilities mainly comes from her Skill and Talent: they free allies from crowd-control debuffs while also boosting their ATK, both benefits being equally vital. Her Ultimate lets Phainon reliably trigger a double-cast, greatly amplifying his damage rotation. Her Basic ATK deal straightforward single-target Wind DMG and are therefore the lowest priority.

Cerydra Edilons VS Signature Weapon
In terms of pulling investment for Cerydra and the balance between getting her Eidolons and her Signature Light Cone, there are certain considerations players should make:
Signature LC
Cerydra’s Lightcone provides her a 64% attack boost which is needed for her Talent, helps her recovery SP and boost the skill damage output of the Main DPS character whenever she uses her Skills, which is crucial for her support role.
E1
E1 allows the ally with Military Merit ignore up to 36% of enemy target's DEF when dealing DMG and recovers 2 energy whenever Cerydra uses her skill, allowing Cerydra to massively boost the damage output of the ally granted her unique buff.
E2
E2 allows Cerydra's DMG dealt increases by 160% and the designated teammate's DMG increases by 40%, boosts the entire team's damage output. This Eidolon is also a stoping point for low-spenders as it boost massive additional DMG for Cerydra and the Main DPS.
E3&E5
Cerydra’s E3 and E5 just simply increase the Skill Lv. and full Ultimate Lv. as normal. You should only pull for these when E4 and E6 strong enough or you just love Cerydra.
E4
E4 increase her sub-DPS potential by increasing the Wind DMG dealt by Ult. However, this eidolon does not improve her support capability, which is her main role.
E6
E6 allows her and the ally with her unique buff to deal damage that ignores 20% of ALL-type RES PEN and boost the additional DMG triggered by Military Merit whenever the ally uses their skill. Coupling this effect with Cerydra’s E1 and E2 allows the Main DPS character to deal up to 100% more damage by simply having Cerydra on the field. E6 is extremely powerful, however, it is quite costly to achieve.
Therefore, with these considerations, players should invest in Cerydra in this order: E0S0 > E0S1 / E1S0 > E2S1 > E6S1 (Pulling for E1S0 if you want to pair Cerydra for Phainon, and E1S0 for Anaxa).
Best Team Compositions
As a support capable of providing powerful buffs to allies’ skill damage output and duplicate the main DPS’ skill usage, Cerydra is surprisingly very restrictive in terms of team building, with her best teammates essentially boils down to her best partner in crime - Phainon and other character dealing Skill DMG in Honkai Star Rail.
Phainon Team - Best Team Composition
Running Cerydra alongside Phainon is the intended best team for Cerydra as her entire skill kit is designed to revolve around Phainon, allowing Cerydra to massively boost Phainon’s damage output when she is off the field due to Phainon’s effect.

Phainon serves as the main DPS option in the team, receiving all of the buffs from other supports in the team in order to boost his skill damage output to the maximum before entering his Ultimate mode and dealing massive amounts of skill damage to all enemies. Cerydra allows Phainon to use his skill additional times thanks to her effect and allow him to take full use of her buffs that boost his Skill damage output.
Anaxa Hypercarry Team Synergy
A surprising benefactor of Cerydra’s powerful skill kit, by running Cerydra alongside him, Anaxa will be promoted from the sub DPS option in The Herta team into the team’s main DPS option. Thanks to his ability to reuse his skill, allowing Anaxa to use 4 Skills in a row thanks to Cerydra’s skill duplication abilities while taking full advantage of her buffs.

Support |
A reverse of the typical The Herta team composition, Anaxa serves as the main DPS in this team with The Herta serving as the sub DPS to help trigger his Bonus Ability with 2 Erudition characters on field. Cerydra will be the team’s main Support option, with Huohuo or Hyacine serving as the main Sustain option to keep the team alive.
