Support/ Sub DPS

Cerydra is a Wind Character following the path of the Harmony. She specializes in boosting the attack of a single ally’s Skill damage output, granting them special effects that duplicate their skill usage and can even supplement the team’s damage, providing all-type RES PEN.

Cerydra Kit revolves around her Skill and her main support gimmick lies in it which grants the special Military Merit buff for one designated ally character. When the amount of charges reaches 6, the ally will be granted the Coup de Main effect that duplicate his / her Skill. Please note that this effect takes action before the character’s actual skill use. She also grants the ally a SPD increase and Energy Regen when they act.

Cerydra’s sub DPS potential comes from the combination of her Talent effects and Ultimate. Cerydra deals Wind additional DMG equal to 60% of Cerydra's Attack whenever the designated ally target uses Basic ATK or Skill attacks, this effect can be triggered up to 20 times and the trigger count resets when she use Ult. Additionally, with the help of her Bonus Ability, Cerydra’s Crit Rate will be fixed at 100% and she will gain Crit DMG boost for every 100 Attack stat that exceed 2000 Attack, boosting her damage dealt.

Finally, Cerydra’s ultimate allows her to instantly gain 2 charges while dealing AoE Wind DMG to all enemies, granting the Skill effect to the first ally in the line up if there’s no allies with the effect active.

Basic ATK

As an offensive Support Character, Cerydra’s abilities mainly comes from her Skill and Talent: they free allies from crowd-control debuffs while also boosting their ATK, both benefits being equally vital. Her Ultimate lets Phainon reliably trigger a double-cast, greatly amplifying his damage rotation. Her Basic ATK deal straightforward single-target Wind DMG and are therefore the lowest priority.

Recommended Light Cones

As a Harmony character, Cerydra has access to a lot of strong Harmony Light Cones that can help boost her damage output massively while providing utility in the team.

The best in slot Light Cone for Cerydra is of course, her Signature Light Cone:

Epoch Etched in Golden Blood

Epoch Etched in Golden Blood (5* Limited)

  • Attack: 635
  • HP: 952
  • Defense: 463

Alternatively, another great Light Cone that boost Cerydra’s supporting potential is A Grounded Ascent:

A Grounded Ascent

A Grounded Ascent (5* Limited)

  • Attack: 476
  • HP: 1164
  • Defense: 529

After the wearer uses Skill or Ultimate on one ally character, the wearer regenerates 6 Energy and the ability's target receives 1 stack of "Hymn" for 3 turn(s), stacking up to 3 time(s). Each stack of "Hymn" increases its holder's DMG dealt by 15%. After every 2 instance(s) of Skill or Ultimate the wearer uses on one ally character, recovers 1 Skill Point.

Some of the best F2P Light Cones that Cerydra can use includes:

Dance! Dance! Dance!

Dance! Dance! Dance! (4*)

  • Attack: 423
  • HP: 952
  • Defense: 396

When the wearer uses their Ultimate, all allies' actions are Advanced Forward by 16% .

Please note: If players use Cerydra in a Phainon team, this Light Cone should not be used as Cerydra herself won’t be on the field long enough for the team to reap the benefits of this amazing Light Cone.

The Forever Victual

The Forever Victual (4*)

  • Attack: 476
  • HP: 952
  • Defense: 330

Increases the wearer's ATK by 16%. After using their Skill, the wearer's ATK increases by 8%, stacking up to 3 times.

Best Relic & Ornament Sets

For Cerydra, her best Relic set is the Sacerdos' Relieved Ordeal set, which increases her Speed stat and grants allies critical damage boost whenever she uses her skill on them, allowing her to boost the damage output of the buffed ally by a massive amount.

When using Skill or Ultimate on one ally target, increases the ability target's CRIT DMG by 18%, lasting for 2 turn(s). This effect can stack up to 2 time(s).

Cerydra’s best Ornament set is Lushaka, the Sunken Seas, which grants her an energy regen stat buff while also boosting the damage of the main DPS character in the first position.

For Main Stats and Sub Stats, players should prioritize Attack Stats on Cerydra to maximize her talent which boost her critical damage the higher her attack stat is. Additionally, to maximize her support potential, players should focus on getting Energy Regen and Speed stats for Cerydra as well.

Main & Sub Stats

- For Cerydra, players should focus on these stats:

Priority 1: ATK% / SPD

Priority 2: Critical DMG%

Note: To maximize Cerydra’s talent, players should aim for 4000 Attack with as high speed as possible.

Eidolons Priorities

Cerydra Recommended Eidolons

E1 - Seize the Crowns of All

 Seize the Crowns of All

Cerydra’s 1st Eidolons allows the ally with Military Merit ignore up to 36% of enemy target's DEF when dealing DMG and recovers 2 energy whenever Cerydra uses her skill, allowing Cerydra to massively boost the damage output of the ally granted her unique buff.

Rating: Highly Recommended (A massive damage increase for the Main DPS)

E2 - Forge the Dreams of Many

 Forge the Dreams of Many

Cerydra’s 2nd Eidolons straight up allows the ally with her unique buff to have their damage increased by 40% and increase Cerydra’s damage output by a massive amount as well, making this her best support Eidolons to boost the main DPS’s damage output.

Rating: Most Recommended (Massively improve both Cerydra’s and the main DPS’ damage output unconditionally)

E4 - Remake the Realms of Men

 Remake the Realms of Men

Cerydra’s 4th Eidolons improved her Ultimate damage modifier by a massive amount, which allows her to deal more damage and can even help her become the main DPS in the team instead of just a sub DPS. However, this eidolon does not improve her support capability, which is her main role.

Rating: Not Recommended (Only improves Cerydra’s Ultimate damage output, no actual support utility)

E6 - A Journey Set Starward

 A Journey Set Starward

Cerydra’s 6th eidolon allows her and the ally with her unique buff to deal damage that ignores 20% of the enemies’ RES and boost the damage modifier of Cerydra’s additional damage whenever the ally uses their skill. Coupling this effect with Cerydra’s E1 and E2 allows the Main DPS character to deal up to 100% more damage by simply having Cerydra on the field.

Rating: Extremely Recommended (Massively improves the Main DPS damage output and Cerydra’s Additional Damage Instances)

Cerydra Edilons VS Signature Weapon

In terms of pulling investment for Cerydra and the balance between getting her Eidolons and her signature Lightcone, there are certain considerations players should make:

- Cerydra’s Lightcone provides her a massive attack boost which is needed for her Talent and helps her boost the skill damage output of the Main DPS character whenever she uses her Skills, which is crucial for her support role.

- While Cerydra’s E1 is decently strong, it doesn’t provide as high of a benefit to her role as the support as her Lightcone.

- Cerydra’s Eidolons only become extremely strong once she reaches her E2, which straight up increases the damage output of the Main DPS under Cerydra’s buff. This eidolon is also an ideal investment stopping point for low spenders.

- Cerydra’s E6 is extremely powerful, however, it is quite costly to achieve.

Therefore, with these considerations, players should invest in Cerydra in this order: E0S1 > E2S1 > E6S1 > E6S5.

Best Team Recommendations

As a support capable of providing powerful buffs to allies’ skill damage output when they dealing Skill DMG and duplicate the main DPS’ skill usage, Cerydra is surprisingly very restrictive in terms of team building, with her best teammates essentially boils down to her best partner in crime - Phainon and other Skill DMG reliant character in Honkai Star Rail.

Phainon Team - Best Team Synergy

Running Cerydra alongside Phainon is the intended best team for Cerydra as her entire skill kit is designed to revolve around Phainon, allowing Cerydra to massively boost Phainon’s damage output when she is off the field due to Phainon’s effect.

Phainon serves as the main DPS option in the team, receiving all of the buffs from other supports in the team in order to boost his skill damage output to the maximum before entering his Ultimate mode and dealing massive amounts of skill damage to all enemies. Cerydra’s role in the team allows Phainon to use his skill additional times thanks to her effect and allow him to take full use of her buffs that boost his Skill damage output.

Anaxa Hypercarry Team

A surprising benefactor of Cerydra’s powerful skill kit, by running Cerydra alongside him, Anaxa will be promoted from the sub DPS option in The Herta team into the team’s main DPS option, thanks to his ability to reuse his skill, allowing Anaxa to use 4 Skills in a row thanks to Cerydra’s skill duplication abilities while taking full advantage of her buffs.

A reverse of the typical The Herta team, Anaxa serves as the main DPS in this team with The Herta serving as the sub DPS to help trigger his Bonus Ability with 2 Erudition characters on field. Cerydra will be the team’s main Support option, with Huohuo or Hyacine serving as the main Sustain option to keep the team alive.
