Wuthering Waves 3.0 Banners Revealed: Lynae & Mornye Debut!

WuWa 3.0 Banners Release Date

Wuthering Waves Version 3.0 is expected to be a massive update, marking a new era for the game. According to the 6 weeks cycle, the WuWa 3.0 will release on 25/12/2025.

Version 3.0 of Wuthering Waves will introduce two brand new 5-star Resonators: Lynae (Spectro Pistols) and Mornye (Fusion Broadblade). The first phase rerun characters are Cartethyia (Aero Sword) and Ciaccona  (Aero Pistol), the second phase rerun characters are Augusta (Electro Broadblade) and Iuno (Aero Gauntlets).

Her aggressive, close-quarters combat style will bring a fresh, fast-paced dynamic to Spectro teams. If you've been looking for a flexible and hard-hitting Spectro core who can stand on her own, Lynae is your answer. She's here to rewrite the rules of Spectro combat.

 

Phase 2: Mornye

Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Element: Fusion | Weapon: Broadblade

Mornye is more than just a new character; she's the key to a whole new gameplay system. This 5-star Fusion Broadblade user is a dedicated support and enabler built around the revolutionary new mechanic: Fusion Burst.

Fusion Burst is set to transform the element from pure damage into a highly technical and engaging system of coordinated attacks. But here’s the best part: Mornye's release is expected to coincide with the Rover finally unlocking their Fusion abilities! Phase 1: Cartethyia & Ciaccona

Rarity:  5-star ｜ Element：Aero ｜ Weapon: Sword

Cartethyia is a 5-star Resonator introduced in Wuthering Waves Version 2.4. As an Aero Sword user, she serves as a main DPS, with the ability to switch between her regular Cartethyia form and the more powerful Fleurdelys state.

 

Rarity:  5-star ｜ Element: Aero｜ Weapon: Pistol 

Ciaccona is a five-star Aero Resonator who shines as both a support and Sub-DPS. She specializes in applying Aero Erosion, which increases Aero damage. With her ability to consistently apply this debuff through Basic Attacks and abilities, she becomes a key asset for teams built around Aero damage.

Phase 2: Augusta & Iuno

Rarity: 5-star ｜ Element: Electro ｜ Weapon: Broadblade 

Augusta is an Electro main DPS who relies on the "Prowess" and "Ascendency" resource bars to perform powerful combos. When her ultimate is activated with full "Majesty" stacks, time is paused, and she unleashes a barrage of attacks for maximum damage. With a self-protecting shield, her survivability is top-notch.

Iuno is an Aero Resonator in Wuthering Waves who uses Gauntlets and works as a sub-DPS or support. She switches between her Lunar Cycle stances, using the Forte Gauge to dish out steady damage. On top of that, she can create a domain that boosts ally damage, provides shields, and heals, making her a well-rounded character that shines in both offensive and supportive roles.

Startorch Academy is a research institute, not a school. Located at the Arctic point of Solaris, it sits in the Lahai-Roire region, shaped by ancient pole shifts. Over time, a massive underground cavern became habitable, turning into a warm, humid oasis. Today, it’s known as the "Research Haven of Solaris" and a "Utopia for Researchers," where Resonators thrive.
