WuWa version 3.3 is almost here, and this means that Denia is arriving soon! Denia has remained highly popular since her appearance in version 3.2 – her sweet looks, mysterious identity, and lazy personality all make you want to take a bite. Our Denia is a genuine peach cream cupcake!! Anyone who doesn't get it is missing out.
Below is a Denia guide on how to enjoy this good girl. Let's take a look!
Denia Overview

Element: Fusion | Weapon Type: Rectifier
Denia has two forms: Pink Form and Purple Form. She starts in Pink Form.
Pink Form attacks generate Void Particle (special energy). Casting Resonance Liberation Final Act - Stagecraft Form puts her into Entropy Shift: Stagecraft Form (enhanced Pink state) and switches to Purple Form.
Purple Form attacks generate Conformal Charge (special resonance energy), used to cast Resonance Liberation Final Act - Breakdown Form, which consumes Void Particle accumulated in Pink Form to increase damage. Casting it switches her into
In Purple Form, Dark Cores are used to cast enhanced Resonance Skill Banish - Breakdown Form – the more Dark Cores consumed, the higher the damage.

Alternatives
|
Stringmaster Rarity: ★★★★★ |
Augment Rarity: ★★★★ |
Variation Rarity: ★★★★ |
Weapon Analysis: Denia's signature weapon's first half gives self Liberation DMG Bonus; the second half gives ATK% to self and team. ATK% is valuable in the current meta since many main DPS stack DMG Bonus heavily, neglecting ATK.
Regarding other weapon options, Yinlin's signature weapon, Stringmaster, remains the best substitute. Because Denia herself has off-field damage-dealing capability, in some situations it can even outperform her own signature weapon. Augment, as a battle pass weapon, provides CRIT Rate and has a skill that grants ATK based on Resonance Liberation, making it suitable as a transitional option. If you don't care about Denia's personal damage output, using Variation to accelerate Concerto is also an option.

Skill Priority & Resonance Chain
Skill Priority
Denia's primary damage type is Resonance Liberation DMG, with multipliers distributed across Skill, Forte, and Liberation.
After unlocking inherent skills:
Liberation > Forte Circuit > Resonance Skill > Normal Attack > Intro Skill
Resonance Chain Recommendations
- S1 – The Sky Holds Nothing: +30% CRIT DMG, interruption resistance, faster startup Solid QoL
- S2 – The Solace Yet It Brings: Fusion Burst: +50% team Fusion DMG. Tune Strain: +15 Break Boost + 100% Off-Tune Level (once/300s). +40% Banish multiplier. Major support spike for both modes
- S3 – Through Dark and Wind: +80% Liberation multiplier. Dark Cores cap to 5 (6s interval). Enhanced Entropy Shift: +4 Void Particle/sec (Stagecraft) / +30 Concerto on Liberation (Breakdown). Enhanced Inherent: max cores/particle on combat entry (12s CD). NA4 or Phantom Bubble consumes all cores for +1200% multiplier (Liberation DMG). Key self-damage spike; main DPS unlock
- S4 – From the Far Beyond: Erosion Field interval reduced to 3s Minor improvement
- S5 – If Lies Patch Up a Heart:+100% Liberation (Stagecraft Form) damage More damage
- S6 – May You Find Your Sun
Fusion Burst: Erosion Field also counts as Fusion Burst DMG; inflicts Erosion Mark (+40% Amplify on Fusion Burst CRIT).
Tune Strain: +120% Erosion Field multiplier; dealing Tune Break DMG to Mistuned targets with Shifting inflicts +1 Interfered stack (3s CD). Extreme ceiling for Amis (S6) and Tune Break teams
Pull Priority:
S0R1 (character + sig) → S2R1 (strong support for both modes) → S3R1 (main DPS unlock) → S6R1/S6R5 (for S6 Amis support or Tune Strain main DPS)
Team Compositions
Fusion Burst Team
|
|
Denia |
|
The Fusion Burst team has been waiting for this off-field sub-DPS since Aemeath launched – the final piece of the puzzle is finally here! The Fusion Burst mechanic makes this team excel in multi-target content like Whimpering Wastes, potentially rivaling the best team there. Single-target performance is also very strong, so no worries there.
Denia brings strong buffing capability, greatly increasing Aemeath's damage. She fills the gap in applying Fusion Burst stacks (22 stacks total) and even helps stack Aemeath's ultimate before S3. Additionally, Denia deals solid personal damage, among the highest for off-field DPS, significantly raising team total damage.
The flex slot is the healer. Chisa (+3 stacks and Outro that boosts Fusion Burst detonation) is the premium choice. For high-skill or low-pressure content, Lupa (triple-Fusion) offers strong buffs, shares damage types for domain bonuses, and… all three have similar hair colors.
Tune Strain Team
|
Luuk Herssen / Lynea |
Denia |
|
Denia significantly improves the Tune Strain team's numbers. Her Tune Strain Outro gives 40% All-DMG Amplification with no restrictions on main DPS element or damage type. She provides the rare Break Boost stat, perfectly fitting Luuk Herssen's needs.
Compared to Lynea (previous Tune Strain sub-DPS), the Luuk-Denia-Mornye team executes Execution (Tune Break) more frequently during rotation, solving the problem of slow Execution against multiple waves and improving the team's combat environment. Her 16s Outro also fits Lu Hess's somewhat lengthy rotation. If you're looking to strengthen your Luuk team, consider pulling Denia.
Denia Main DPS Team
|
Denia |
|
Mornye |
For main DPS Denia – not recommended for new players; consider only at S3+. The ideal team is Denia + Lynae + Mornye (triple Tune Strain). In high-difficulty content (Matrix, Test Server v1), S3R1 Denia/Lynae/Mornye is slightly below the full S0R1 Amis Tune Strain/Fusion Burst teams, but better than full S0R1 Lu-Denia-Mornye. If you're a Denia fan, it's worth considering. Without Lynae, substitute Lupa and switch Denia to Fusion Burst mode for a triple-Fusion team.
Low-Cost Team
|
Denia |
|
|
For new players without a full roster, use standard or 4-star characters. Jianxin (Liberation DMG deepen), Yangyang (energy regen), or Sanhua (fast Concerto) are all viable options for slot 2. Verina is easily obtainable as a standard healer.
Conclusion
Whether supporting Aemeath or Luuk Herssen, or trying main DPS gameplay, Denia earns her spot with strong support capability and consistent damage. Her build flexibility and versatility mean pulling her greatly improves your team experience.
May you all pull Denia – and not the other pink-haired girl. Gain more Lunites in version 3.3!
