Master the Sept. 1 Whimpering Wastes reset with precision! This update to Whimpering Wastes brings an important change after five versions: the universal 5-star Tokens have officially returned. This means most team compositions, including those that were previously weaker, will receive a noticeable boost, which is a welcome change. Bad news: both the first and second halves of Infinite Torrents are filled with Chop Chop, be prepared for a challenging run.

Golden Tokens	Token Effects
	Casting Echo Skill increases Havoc DMG by 20%, stacking up to 2 times. The same Resonator cannot trigger this effect again with the same Echo Skill. At 2 stacks, the Resonator's next instance of damage dealt triggers an AoE attack, dealing 800% Havoc DMG to nearby targets. This effect can be triggered once every 5s.

• Usage: Up to 2 times in Whimpering Wastes.
• Best for: Havoc teams, especially Phrolova Echo teams.

 

Gaze that Drowns in Dream

Golden Tokens	Token Effects
	Grants 20% Electro DMG Bonus and 20% Aero DMG Bonus. When the active Resonator gains a Shield, they additionally recover Ember, triggered up to 1 time per second. When the active Resonator deals damage while in the Burning Waves state, they unleash an AoE attack, dealing Electro DMG equal to 2400% of their ATK in total, triggered once every 6 seconds.

• Usage: Up to 2 times in WhiWa.
• Note: This is like a stronger version of "Plunderer Captain's Seal", with higher damage but a longer cooldown. Good for Electro / Aero teams.

 

Falling Star that Tears Fate Apart (Universal Pick)

	The Burning Waves state becomes permanent. While in Burning Waves, Resonators deal 50% more DMG.

• Usage: Up to 2 times in WhiWa.
• Explanation: Since Burn Tide itself gives 60% True DMG, this Token effectively provides a 110% total damage increase. Almost all teams can benefit.

 

Buff Adjustments

• All floors (including Infinite Torrents) now share the same core mechanics:
• Defeating enemies restores Burn Value.
• At full Burn Value, enter Burn Tide state, which increases damage by 60%.
• Infinite Torrents has an additional 30% DMG Bonus.
• Enemy lineup includes Chop Chop on both halves.

 

Stage Resistances & Team Recommendations

★Floor 9-11 Resistances:

• Floor 9: Fusion RES — Avoid Fusion teams. Havoc, Electro, Spectro, Aero, or Glacio are fine.
• Floor 10: Spectro RES — Avoid Spectro teams. Others are fine.
• Floor 11: Glacio RES — Not ideal for Glacio teams. Use Havoc, Electro, Spectro, or Aero.
• Token advice: Use Tokens in Rarity 4 ( Reveler Captain's Seal prior ) on Floor 9, switch to Tokens in Rarity 5 ( Falling Star that Tears Fate Apart prior ) from Floor 10 onward.

★Infinite Torrents Resistances:

• First Half: Mostly Fusion-resistant enemies (about ¾). Not recommended for Fusion teams.
• Second Half: Half of the enemies resist Fusion. One Spectro-resistant (Nimbus Wraith), one without resistance (Cuddle Wuddle).
• Summary: Fusion teams are not recommended this cycle. If it is necessary to use, try Second Half.
