With the 2.8 update, Whimpering Wastes gets a fresh overhaul on November 24th, introducing new Golden Tokens, buffs, and adjusted enemy resistances. Current Golden Tokens & Buff Changes

The Stigma that Signifies Vainglory

	When Resonators are in mid-air, their DMG dealt is Amplified by 80%.

• Usage: Up to 2 times in Whimpering Wastes.

Falling Star that Tears Fate Apart

	The Burning Waves state becomes permanent. While in Burning Waves, Resonators deal 50% more DMG.

• Usage: Up to 2 times in Whimpering Wastes.

A Question with Many Answers

	Ignore 20% of the target's DEF when dealing DMG to enemies inflicted with Negative Statuses. Resonators who inflict Negative Statuses on enemies recover additional Ember, triggered once every second. While in the Burning Waves state, Resonators deal 50% more DMG, and the Negative Status on the target is raised to max stacks upon hit.

• Usage: Up to 2 times in Whimpering Wastes.

Buff Adjustments

All floors (including Infinite Torrents) now share the same core mechanics:

• Dealing damage or defeating enemies restores Ember.
• At max Ember, enter the Burning Waves state and deal 60% extra DMG for 30s.

All Tokens have unlimited uses and DMG dealt is increased by 30% while inside the infinite Torrents.

Stage Resistances & Team Recommendations

★Floor 9-11 Resistances:

Floor 9: Havoc RES — Avoid Havoc teams. Phrolova, Zani, or Shorekeeper are fine.

Floor 10: Fusion RES — Avoid Fusion teams. Others are fine.

Floor 11: Spectro RES — Not ideal for Spectro teams. Use Phrolova, Cantarella, or Qiuyuan.

Token advice: Use Tokens in Rarity 4 (Plunderer Captain's Seal or Reveler Captain's Seal) on Floor 9, switch to Tokens in Rarity 5 (Haven that Gleams Elegantly or A Question with Many Answers) from Floor 10 onward.

• First Half:

Two Electro monsters, with a higher RES to Electro DMG
