Yangyang: Xuanling is expected to arrive with Wuthering Waves Version 3.5 around July 9, 2026, and she already looks like one of the most exciting carry releases for Havoc fans. Her teams are all about giving her the right setup, enough field time, and strong support for her Heavy Attack damage windows. This guide goes through her best team options, from premium Havoc Bane setups to more flexible builds you can actually run with your current roster.

Yangyang: Xuanlin Team-Building Basics

Yangyang: Xuanling wants enablers, not spotlight thieves. Her kit is clearly built around Havoc Bane + Heavy Attack payoff, so her best teammates are the ones who either help stack Havoc Bane, boost Negative Status value, or keep her on-field long enough to finish her stance flow cleanly. Current kit summaries point to Havoc Bane being central to her damage, while Havoc Bane itself reduces enemy DEF by default, so this is not just flavor text — it is her actual damage engine.

Chisa is the most obvious partner. Her Unseen Snare can apply Havoc Bane when marked enemies take direct damage, which makes Xuanling’s rotation feel much smoother instead of forcing her to do all the setup herself.

Suisui also looks cracked for her, because she supports Negative Status teams, raises status-stack value, and brings healing plus team buffs.

For the last slot, go for off-field damage, Heavy Attack buffs, or stable sustain. Basically: stack Bane, buff the window, let Xuanling cook.

This trio works because everyone is pushing the same button: make Havoc Bane hit harder. Yangyang: Xuanling is the on-field carry, and her damage is built around Havoc Bane plus Heavy Attack burst windows.

Chisa is the glue piece, adding reliable Havoc Bane support and helping raise the Negative Status ceiling, so Xuanling is not forced to set everything up alone.

Suisui then turns the whole comp from “good” to “yeah, this is the team” with Ceaseless Landscape, letting Havoc DMG ignore DEF and Havoc RES after Havoc Bane, plus a 25% All DMG Outro buff. That is clean, stacked synergy.

Yangyang: Xuanling + Rover: Electro is a real workable shell because Rover’s Outro gives the next character Electric Core, and when that character inflicts a Negative Status, it turns into 20% All DMG Amplification for 25s. That lines up nicely with Xuanling, since her kit already plays around Havoc Bane and gains extra value when Havoc Bane stacks are active.

The third slot depends on what you need: Chisa pushes the Havoc Bane plan harder, Suisui improves Negative Status teams, while Shorekeeper or Verina keep the team comfy with healing and universal damage buffs. Basically, it is not the ceiling comp, but it is clean, practical, and very playable.

Mortefi

Mortefi

This is a legit flex Heavy Attack shell for Yangyang: Xuanling, not her strict Havoc Bane ceiling team. Xuanling’s own kit already rewards Havoc Bane and heavily loads value into Heavy Attack-style damage windows, so pairing her with Iuno, Phrolova, Rebecca, or Mortefi makes sense because they all help that “swap in, buff the carry, let her cook” gameplan. Iuno gives a huge Heavy Attack Amplification Outro, Mortefi does the same at a lower but very practical value, Phrolova adds Havoc DMG + Heavy Attack support with off-field pressure, and Rebecca can function as another Heavy Attack support option.

For sustain, Suisui is best when you want Negative Status/Havoc Bane upside, while Shorekeeper and Verina are the comfy universal healer-buff picks.

Conclusion

Yangyang: Xuanling has a pretty clear team-building direction: feed her Havoc Bane value, support her Heavy Attack windows, and keep the rotation smooth. Chisa and Suisui look like the cleanest core, but Rover: Electro, Iuno, Phrolova, Rebecca, Mortefi, Shorekeeper, and Verina all give her useful alternatives depending on your account.
