HSR Pure Fiction: V3.6 Guide Update & Teams

Buff Overview

Iambic Pentameter Mechanic
After allies use Ultimate to attack enemy targets, every enemy target hit additionally accumulates 5 Grit Value for allies.
Concordant Truce	After an enemy target is defeated by any unit, all allies gain 1 stack of "Resound."
Surging Grit	When entering Surging Grit, consume all "Resound." Each stack of "Resound" deals 1 instance of a set amount of DMG to a random enemy target. During Surging Grit, increases enemy targets' DMG taken by 50%, and after they are defeated by any unit, all allies additionally gain 1 stack of "Resound." When "Resound" stacks up to 10 or higher, consumes all "Resound" stacks and deals 1 instance of a set amount of DMG to a random enemy target per stack.

3 Individual Buffs

1. Reminiscence (Ult-Stack Damage)

During Surging Grit, whenever an ally uses an Ultimate, your team’s DMG increases by 15%, stacking up to 5. Stacks last until the current Surging Grit ends (then reset).

Use when: your comp spams Ultimates (fast energy refund, low-cost Ults, frequent turn cycling).

2. Memory (Dot)

On entering Surging Grit, instantly restore 3 Skill Points. While Surging Grit lasts, enemies that are suffering DoT grant your side +1 Grit (per ticking target).

Use when: you play DoT teams; this is the go-to choice for Kafka / Black Swan style comps.

3. Epiphany (SPD+Skill)

During Surging Grit, your whole team gains +20% SPD. After casting a Skill, your team gains 1 stack of “Echo.” When your Skills hit enemies, you gain +3 Grit per enemy hit.

Use when: you run skill-spam / AoE farming

 

 

Tips：After the revision, in the  Pure Fiction, when an enemy in any position is eliminated, new enemies will continuously spawn to fill the vacant spots, keeping the total number of enemies on the field fixed at 5. While it’s possible to end the battle by focusing attacks solely on the boss or elite enemies, their health pools are excessively high. For casual players, it’s still recommended to prioritize area-of-effect (AoE) damage dealers. By eliminating regular enemies, you can also deplete the boss’s health—this is an efficient way to claim all rewards. (When it comes to team composition recommendations, priority will still be given to ensuring a smooth and comfortable gameplay experience.) 

 

Stage 4 Phase 1

Types Recommended

Physical  > Ice  > Fire  > Others

• Wave 2’s elite has 40% Wind RES.

• Wave 3 has no Wind weakness.
  ⇒ Unless you have a very specific reason, avoid Wind comps this half.

 

Enemy Mechanics

Argenti

• Argenti will keep summoning statues:

  • The Honored (rose-decorated): increases Argenti’s DMG by 12%; if you kill it, you gain +20% DMG. However, it takes ~670k damage to kill and only shaves ~600k from Argenti—poor value for time/turns spent.

  • Speartip (black–white): acts to damage your team and, on death, hits enemies. It has only ~390k HP; killing it reduces Toughness and cuts 3% of Argenti’s Max HP (~600k).
    Priority: Focus Speartip. It’s the most efficient way to crack Argenti while keeping tempo.

  TL;DR: Delete Speartip on sight to farm Toughness breaks and %HP cuts; only take The Honored if your route needs the +20% buff and you can afford the extra damage/time.

Enemy Mechanics

 

Savage and Mad God, Incarnation of Strife

Fight Plan

• • All three waves include Strife retainers that grant energy refunds based on hit-count.

  • Control Ultimate timing so key units receive that refund.

  • Priority finisher: let your Harmony teammate with “Dance! Dance! Dance!” use their Ultimate to close a wave, pushing team actions forward and creating extra turns.

  • Secondary option: funnel the finishing hit/Ult to your main carry who needs energy next wave.

Tipps: 

• Using many of the same comps across both halves, Stage 4 – Phase 1 (Argenti) is noticeably harder. Allocate your best buffs and resources to the first half.

• Stage 4 – Phase 2 feels smoother thanks to the abundant hit-based energy refunds, making rotations more forgiving.

 

Conclusion

The 3.6 update brings noticeably higher pressure this time. Total enemy HP has increased across the board, and the current Cacophony buffs aren't particularly strong. Some comps that previously secured full marks may now only reach full stars.

That said, with smart buff choices and rotation management, most players can still comfortably clear all stages — just don’t expect it to be a walk in the park.
