Wuthering Waves Version 3.6 introduces a new wave of Resonators, bringing fresh combat experiences, powerful new abilities, and exciting additions to the current roster. With the arrival of new 5★ characters Qingxiao and Jingran, along with several returning limited characters, players will have new options to strengthen their teams and explore different combat strategies. 3.6 Banner

As mentioned above, our return to Huanglong in Version 3.5 will likely serve as a transition leading into the arrival of Mengzhou in Version 3.6. At that point, we should finally meet the true Sentinel, Hsin (Moon Vixen of Heart). Current online leaks suggest she will likely be a Glacio character. Given that the Moon-Chasing Festival is deeply tied to Hsin, many veteran players fondly remember the first festival when the limited 5-star character, Xiangli Yao, was given away for free. 

Qingxiao 

Qingxiao is a reclusive sword cultivator associated with Xuanfang in Mengzhou. Official descriptions portray her as distant, restrained, and extraordinarily skilled in both qin music and swordsmanship. To the people, she is known as the “Sword Transcendent,” a figure who has guarded the region for many years while remaining largely apart from ordinary society. Her signature art is based on the “heart sword”: she can turn thought and intent into sword force, producing numerous flying blades and directing them at will. Her mastery has reached a point where a conventional weapon is no longer strictly necessary; the sound of a qin, a flower, or even a leaf may become an extension of her sword intent. In gameplay, Qingxiao is a five-star Aero Resonator who uses a Sword. Her characterization combines the image of an immortal-like guardian with the discipline of a cultivator who has refined one art over a very long time.

Jingran

Jingran is a Nethermancer from Mengzhou and an explorer who travels through Mirage Realms and forgotten ruins, searching for lingering echoes and traces of the old world. He does not belong to a sect or submit to religious or institutional authority; instead, he judges right and wrong according to his own convictions. His unusual eyes are central to his abilities. His right eye can detect scattered frequencies beyond ordinary perception, while a high-level Echo creature resides in his left eye. Working together, they allow him to anchor frequencies, share perception, and transmit commands. This makes Jingran both an investigator of hidden phenomena and a fighter whose powers are closely tied to the boundary between reality and the unseen. In gameplay, he is a five-star Fusion Resonator who uses a Broadblade. His official profile emphasizes independence, exploration, and a personal code rather than allegiance to any established doctrine.

3.7 Banner

Suoming

Suoming was born in Huating, Mengzhou. To free her homeland from the Evil Miasma, she founded the Ten Seals Covenant and became its Seal Master. She later entered public service by order of the Sentinel, serving as an Intendant responsible for safeguarding Mengzhou. Her defining ability is the Tenfold Contract, a frequency-locking technique. With another person’s willing consent, Suoming can place a fragment of that person’s frequency into a lock; under extreme conditions, such as when someone is near death or their consciousness is dispersing, the technique can also be used while their will is weakened. Once a frequency is stored, she can draw upon the corresponding ability, although only as a reduced remnant of the original power. Her body can contain no more than ten such frequencies at a time. Official preview material identifies Suoming as an Electro Resonator who uses a Sword, while her story presentation strongly emphasizes contracts, restraint, responsibility, and persistent attachment to the past.

Hsin 

Hsin is the Sentinel of Mengzhou, also called the Moon Fox, and serves as a guide and guardian of Mengzhou’s civilization. Unlike a distant divine figure, official material describes her as emotionally expressive and fond of the joys of ordinary life, with a strong connection to the people and their everyday celebrations. Her power, Fractal Proliferation, allows one entity to divide into multiple linked Fractal Forms. These forms can possess their own shape and perspective while remaining connected to the original, sharing perception and eventually merging back into one. Hsin is also exceptionally skilled in mechanical construction. Her understanding of interlocking mechanisms exceeds contemporary craftsmanship, and she can use her fractal ability to extrapolate, reproduce, or reconstruct complex designs; many ingenious devices in Mengzhou are attributed to her work. Official game materials identify Hsin as an Electro Resonator who uses a Rectifier, making her the first playable Sentinel introduced in Wuthering Waves.
