Are you still stuck on the question – “How am I supposed to win big in the Flame and Fangs Event”? It is only natural for players to end up with minimal rewards, if they lack the knowledge on how the Flame and Fangs event works in the game. At the core, Whiteout survival is a mobile strategy and survival game set in a frozen, post-apocalyptic world where a sudden global temperature drop has put the existence of humanity in severe danger.
In the game, your main goal is to rebuild civilization while enduring extreme cold, scarce resources and constant threats. Flame and Fangs is an important event with one of the most rewarding, reward systems.
Let’s follow LDShop, as in this guide, we will give you a comprehensive breakdown of the Flame and Fangs event with details on how the event works, advance tips and mistakes to avoid.Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned player, grasping the core knowledge of the event will help you advance smoothly into the late game content of Whiteout Survival.
What is Flame and Fangs Event
Flame and Fangs is a limited time bi-weekly event that occurs every 2 weeks. The event lasts for only two days, which are Monday and Tuesday. During the event duration, players will have to complete some intel missions from the lighthouse for which they will be granted the Crystallite Cores. These Cores can further be redeemed for Fire Crystals, speedup buffs, and other rewards.
After the 2 day event mark, you will be given a short extra day to redeem your rewards from the shop. If you do not spend your Cores on the goods from the shop, they will automatically be converted into meat.

Event Mechanics
First, you need to understand that unlike your massive PvP events, Flame and Fangs doesn’t require you to launch massive rallies or burn your troops. Flame and Fangs follows an intel gathering system that runs entirely through the Lighthouse and once the event is active, your intel missions will be displayed through the Lighthouse. There are two type of missions that will be available for you:
- Regular Intel missions
- Firebeast / Firehunter missions
While the regular and the firebeast intel missions are normal which grants only 1 Crystallite Core per completed mission, the Firehunter/Firebeast missions are premium missions that grant 10 Crystallite Cores for a single clear.

Mission Details
Intel Missions refresh 3 times a day at 00:00, 8:00, 16:00 server time. With each refresh, you will get a set of 8 new Intel Missions and 2 new Firebeasts.
Event Currency - Crystallite Cores
We have already mentioned Crystallite Cores several times and you might have grasped a basic idea of it till now. In simple words, these cores are the event exclusive currency that you will earn for completing those intel tasks. Once you have enough of these cores, you can head to the Flame and Fangs shop and exchange them for the rewards. As mentioned before, if you fail to redeem it during the event time period, each Crystallite core will automatically be converted to 10,000 meat.
From our calculations, if you give it your all during the event, you can earn up to 168 Crystallite Cores. But if you still want to earn more, you will have to follow a strict routine to carry a small batch of unclaimed missions into the event to be converted into Cores. This trick can raise your total collected Cores to roughly 184. Doing Whiteout Survival top up and Collecting more Cores will boost your resource collection to another level. The best platform to make the top-up is LDShop, it lets players top up for less and it is a great.

Extra Cores Trick
For the trick mentioned above, you will have to use missions from the last day before Flame and Fangs as extra core sources in the first hours of the event. Here is how you do it:
- On the day before the event begins, you have to keep all the 8:00 intel missions completed but the rewards unclaimed.
- Skip the 16:00 intel missions that day, so they remain uncompleted.
- The event activates at 00:00, which is when you have to claim all the previously stored 8:00 intel missions and start doing the 16:00 missions.
Strategy to follow
Flames and Fans is a much important event to help your progression in the game. The resources you gain from the event are the key ingredient for your Furnace Crystal levels and the War Academy. Here are some strategies that you should follow to make maximum profit out of the event:
- Keep your intel missions cycling so you do not sit at the mission cap.
- Regular intel provides only one Crystallite core, but the Firebeast ones give 10 Cores which makes them the priority missions to be completed.
- Use the extra core trick as mentioned above, if you can invest some of your time on the day before the event starts.
Mistakes to Avoid
Although the event is pretty simple, here are some common mistakes that can ruin your earnings:
- Never forget to log in on Monday just because you cleared your Sunday missions as you still have your fresh waves of Intel Missions of the event.
- If you still have Cores left, make sure to use them all up by Wednesday.
- Do not let your muscle memory win on Sunday Night which is the foundation of the Extra Cores Trick.
